Nativity inspired handkerchiefs from the Middle East, 1945

The story behind these handkerchiefs is a bit of a mystery. they came to me as part of a large estate and have been sitting in a drawer for some time! My take is that "Uncle Harry" who signed the exquisite little card, got the handkerchiefs on a trip to the Middle east, addressed them to his niece "Miss G. Rattray" and signed them 12/8/1945.
